We’re a movement dedicated to changing perceptions about large breed dogs, particularly in light of recent breed-specific legislation.

A Brief History Of

Grannies Gripes

Our unique name comes from a personal story of love and dedication. Our founder’s grandmother, living with dementia, found joy and purpose in her relationship with an XL Bully. This powerful bond inspired us to fight against breed stigma and promote understanding.

How we started

Born from a grandmother’s love for her XL Bully and a family’s fight against breed discrimination, Grannies’ Gripes launched in 2024 to challenge misconceptions about large-breed dogs.

Where we are going

We’re building a community of advocates, expanding our product line, and working tirelessly to change legislation. Our goal: a world where all dogs are judged by their behaviour, not their breed.
