about us

Our Beginnings

Grannies’ Gripes was born in 2024, founded by a passionate team including a devoted granddaughter, her business partner, and a “pissed off Nan.” Our launch was sparked by the implementation of the XL Bully ban on December 31, 2023, which drastically affected thousands of dogs and their families.

Our Mission

At Grannies’ Gripes, we’re committed to:

  1. Advocating for fair treatment of all dog breeds
  2. Challenging breed-specific legislation
  3. Educating the public about responsible dog ownership
  4. Promoting the positive aspects of large-breed dogs

We believe that breed-specific legislation, which has been part of the Dangerous Dogs Act since 1991, has led to the unnecessary loss of many innocent dogs’ lives. Our goal is to change this narrative.

What We Do

  • Offer high-quality dog wear and pet accessories
  • Host events to raise awareness about large-breed dogs
  • Provide education on creating safer relationships between dogs and people
  • Combat misinformation spread on social media about certain dog breeds

Join Our Cause

We understand the complexities surrounding dog ownership and public safety. That’s why we’re committed to working with our community to ensure people’s safety while promoting responsible ownership of all breeds, large and small. By supporting Grannies’ Gripes, you’re not just buying products – you’re joining a movement to change perceptions and save lives. Together, we can prove that it’s not the dog, it’s the owner that makes the difference.
